Specialized care for children ages 6 weeks - 24 months

Parent Comments

Jeanne provides a safe, loving, and educational environment for your infant or toddler to grow.  Personal experience, my little girl Brea, loved going to Jeanne's.  She was her second mom in a sense. Keeping her safe as she began to explore…crawling and then walking.  My mind was at ease knowing Jeanne was caring for Brea.  Jeanne also had a sixth sense with colds, ear aches etc., and gave us heads up so we could take her in appropriately.

As important as the environment, was the communication Jeanne had with my husband and I.  We enjoyed open, honest communication about how Brea was doing at daycare such as naps, eating, and interaction with other children.   The bonus that Jeanne provides was educational activities.  I know that sounds premature but it was true.  Brea was signing what she wanted to communicate such as more milk, shoes, socks, change etc.  It was wonderful to learn along and be able to interact before she was able to fully verbalize.  The songs they sang, books they read, and games they played contributed greatly to her developmental abilities.  Her next daycare she attended commented on how smart Brea was…we attribute a great deal to her experiences at Jeanne's.

We were so sad when Brea approached 2y/o because we new we had to say goodbye and go onto the next adventure at another daycare.  I forgot to mention the homemade meals…Jeanne is a great cook, many times I would come to pick her up and she was preparing full meals for her family along with the daycare children and wow, it smelled so good and was always nutritious.  Jeanne provided a wonderful base for our child to learn and grow.  I would highly recommend Jeanne to any mom!!"

It was important to us to find a child care provider with whom our son could form a bond.  We live far from family, and I wanted him to start his life with as many close, loving relationships as possible.  I wanted a child care provider who would invest time and effort getting to know my son, his routine, his idiosyncrasies, and his burgeoning personality.

We decided early on in the process to look for a provider with a limited number of children;  who was committed to the children's safety, development, and socialization.  I knew I would have difficulty returning to work if I felt that my son would be just one of 10 children needing a bottle and diaper change.

We also limited our search to find a location convenient to both my husband and my work location and to our son's doctor's office.

In the last 18 months, we have come to appreciate her  (Jeanne's ) professionalism in dealing with the business end of child care, her knowledge and experience with child development (and teething, and rashes, and feeding tips, and...), and her sensitivity in dealing with us as new parents.

I cannot say enough about how comfortable you have made me feel;  how you helped me return to work while not feeling apprehensive about my baby!  Thank you so MUCH!!  I would never hesitate to give a glowing recommendation on your behalf.  You have helped me get to a point where I am much more comfortable with my baby in day care.  I value your approach in only accepting a very small group of children in order to give more one on one care.

Jeanne has been a wonderful asset to our family. Jeanne is able to provide personal attention to each child that has created a  positive teaching environment.  Our Daughter could count to 15 and sing the ABC song by the time she was two.  Jeanne makes every possible effort to keep a routine with a new  fun added twist everyday.  The kids love her.  I liked the open door policy with Jeanne; she is very open to any ideas I had.  Jeanne truly does treat her daycare children as if they were her own.
